A frothy foam tops this golden brew, and the effervescence lasts until the bottle is drained. Prominent peach and lemon zest, with just enough toasty grain scents, promise a lively drink. The label also lists Riesling grapes as an ingredient, which bolster this brew with a wine-like quality. Given its light body, we expected little. But this crafted collaboration of a trio of breweries shows great balance with clean mouthfeel that delivers a wonderfully crisp finish. At 6 percent ABV, it pairs beautifully with buttery cheese; we’ll certainly buy it again.
